John has 27 years of hospitality industry experience in a variety of roles, from security and personal protection to operations management. John fell in love with coffee in Melbourne, Australia, where he is originally from, 22 years ago and has never looked back. With his passion for coffee and English/Italian heritage, John moved to the UK, where his coffee career exploded through the challenges of barista competitions that landed him a role in the early stages of the infamous Square Mile Coffee Roasters in London.

While wearing many hats at Square Mile, John took on the role of operations manager, running the technical services department, production, and roasting, all while continuing to push his development through competition. John's success in winning multiple national championships catapulted him to the pathway of equipment manufacturers, resulting in working in the R&D sector for multiple companies.

An obsession with Lean Manufacturing and proficiency in 3D design aided in pushing both equipment and coffee roasting production facilities into a new era, as well as designing groundbreaking technologies and equipment. John's main obsession now is on the technical side of the industry, providing technical services for roasting equipment, production, and cafe equipment.

With an extensive blend of coffee industry experience and technical knowledge, he is always focused on efficiencies and creating a more fluid and enjoyable work environment for people.
